Before you choose, make a list of what you expect from your insurance. If you'd like us to repair your car if you bumped it parking, then you may want to pick comprehensive cover rather than third party, fire and theft.

Our Defaqto 5 star comprehensive cover is the highest level we offer. If an accident happens, it'll cover any injuries or property damage to a third party and also protect you and your car. (The following aren't all available on the Defaqto 3 star Essential tier.)

Like for like replacement if your car is stolen or written off (as long as it’s up to 12 months old and you’re the first registered owner). |

Uninsured Driver Promise |
We’ll repay your excess and your No Claims Bonus won’t be affected if you have an accident with an uninsured driver that isn’t your fault, as long as you have details about the other vehicle. |

Driving Other Cars |
The policyholder is covered to drive another insured car on a Third Party Only basis (if they're eligible). |
With this level we'd still pay out to a third party in the event of a claim and also cover your car if it's damaged by fire or theft. You also get:

Third party only is the minimum cover required by law. Admiral will pay out to the third party if you're involved in an accident, but it won't compensate you as a policyholder if your car is damaged. It covers you for:
